Rene Lastres

So I started playing baseball when I was 9 not knowing that it would be something that I would want to do for the rest of my life. Since I started a bit late – my first two seasons in Rec ball were a bit harsh, going 0-50 in the first season. Even though I was struggling I still enjoyed playing the game. I decided to take it more seriously and started working hard. Now I’m committed to the University of Florida and had a chance to attend the Perfect Game All-American Game and the Under Armour All-American Game, which shows that everything that you put your heart and mind to is possible.
