Kristen Albertini's Inspiration To Be An Ice Hockey Goalie

Kristen Albertini has been an ice hockey goalie for the past 7 years. Her cause for playing was inspired by her sister, who also became an ice hockey goalie early on in life. Kristen’s travel hockey journey began with the SHAHA Panthers, where she played 4 seasons of boys and girls hockey. In 8th grade, Kristen made 33 saves on 34 shots, taking her team to a shootout to win the championship! This past year, Kristen played for the Steel City Selects, where she took a trip to the USA Hockey Nationals. Her team placed as quarter-finalists. She is now playing for the South Pittsburgh Rebellion 19U Girls and PIHL Southeast Girls Varsity High School teams as she wraps up her freshman year.

“Press Sports has allowed me to connect with other athletes and share my own highlights and experiences. I also enjoy seeing other athletes content and sometimes use coaches tips and drills to improve my own game.” – Kristen Albertini
